چکیده مقاله:
Abstract:
Arthrospira platensis contains valuable metabolites such as proteins, antioxidants, lipids, vitamins, and minerals and is used as a food source for humans and animals. The microalgae are usually cultured in three ways: Autotrophic culture, heterotrophic culture (with added extra carbon sources) or mixotrophic culture depending on the species and human demands. Phycobilisomes are One of the main characteristics of this algae in which phycobiliproteins are formed. three main phycobilic proteins present in Spirulina are: Phycocyanin which is the most iconic blue pigment and the main cause of the blue-green color of spirulina. Allophycocyanin which is light blue and is found in smaller amounts in algae than phycocyanin, and Phycoerythrin which has a yellowish-brown color and is not as abundant in the algae as phycocyanin. In this study, an attempt has been made to introduce the best methods for spirulina cultivation along with best techniques for extraction and separation of the pigments regarding industrial scale appliance and economic efficiency. by the end of the research, phycocyanin and phycoerythrin dry powder was successfully produced with the purity percentage of 17.53±0.090 and 2.086±0.004 respectively.
